CCO Written and Practical Exam Schedules

Nevada crane operators will be
required to have a Certificate of Competency as of January 1,
2007.

California
crane operators are required to have a Certificate of
Competency as of June 1, 2005.
-
The
National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators
meets the tough requirements of this new state law.

Equipment
Safety Services Inc. will now be providing the training,
testing and practical exams with cranes or will provide
a portion of this service at your facility.

candidates’ applications are
now being accepted.

State-of-the-Art
Simulation Training
Simlog's
simulation software puts you at the controls of a typical mobile
hydraulic crane equipped with telescoping boom and jib, and a
variety of loads and hook blocks. In addition, the simulation
software incorporates the display of typical instrument readings
(boom angle, boom length, height, radius, and quadrant of operation)
along with a simulated load-moment indicator. You can even change
the viewpoint during the simulation, to track better the position of
the load or the boom tip. Since
the very same exercises are presented to each trainee, and since the
work of each trainee is evaluated in exactly the same way, it
becomes possible to compare trainees in a truly objective way for
the very first time.
